We have a number of items of uniform available for parents to purchase. These include fleeces, jumpers, cardigans and polo shirts.
We encourage our Pre-School and Rainbow children to purchase at least one item of uniform, in particular for use on outings but also for everyday wear. Please click here for details and a price list.
Our Parents' Forum meets once a month on an informal basis. The aim of the forum is to meet with the nursery managers and owners to raise any comments. In addition, the forum organises events such as Christmas and Spring Fayres, and family outings.
Our nursery believes that smooth transitions are essential for the well being of the children in our care.
When a child moves up from one group to another, we ensure that all essential information is passed to the child's next key carer. In addtion, working with the parents, staff complete a Transition Form giving helpful information to help the child settle in their new area.
We have a transition day in the summer term, where parents can meet their child's new key carer and other staff members in the new group. In addition, children will go in small groups to settle in their new area during the latter part of the summer term.
All schools are provided with a copy of the child's online learning journal and teachers are invited to visit the nursery or ask our staff any relevant questions to aid the settling in process.
Our Parents' Handbook contains useful information for new and existing parents. Please click here to download your copy.
We are always happy to welcome parents and grandparents into the nursery to help out as volunteers. This could just be working alongside the children and reading books, or to engage with the children regarding a particular interest or hobby such as gardening.
Please get in touch with a staff member to discuss a convenient time and date so arrangements can be put in place.
